THE Johor Port Authority (LPJ) has played an important role as a government regulatory body to stimulate growth of port activities in both Johor Port and Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).

Over the past three decades, both ports, which are strategically located within the Golden Triangle of Iskandar Development Region, have turned into an important industrial growth area in southern region of Peninsular Malaysia, according to its General Manager Nik Aziz Nik Hussain.
