As his party commands an immense popular mandate, the charismatic Rahul Gandhi might usher dynastic rule back into -India--which is not in keeping with a democracy. Rahul is the only bet India has to bring young leadership into the sea of aged politicians. Mellowed and matured, Rahul has all the right ingredients to take over the reins and infuse fresh and young blood into Indian politics.

It is true that young Rahul Gandhi's strategy worked very well. But he doesn't deserve all the credit. The humility of his mother, Sonia Gandhi, played a major role in the party's success.
