Two local companies are revving up a home study program to help Harley owners get intimate with their bikes.
They may even help the Harley-Davidson Motor Co. recruit new technicians.
Clinton Education Group of Phoenix is working with Harley-Davidson Motor Co. of Wisconsin to design the "Fundamentals" program. Rossi Partners of Phoenix will provide marketing.
The first part of the program will include a video and an 18-module course on the basics of Harley-Davidson motorcycle mechanics. Module topics include late-model identification and basic electrical service. Other parts will follow.
