Javacool recently released an upgraded version of the popular anti-spyware and anti-malware software. SpywareBlaster 4.2 features improved Windows 7 support, faster updating worldwide, support for the Internet Explorer 8 and K-Meleon browsers, interface improvements and numerous other enhancements.
PC World Magazine recognized SpywareBlaster as one of its "eight great free security tools" that can help computer users "beat back the bad guys."
The Philadelphia Bulletin's columnist Ray Wilson praised SpywareBlaster for standing "like a sentinel at the front door of your software to stop any invasion before it starts. This is protection that works like another firewall without the fear of a conflict. It works in its own fashion, restricting any potentially dangerous infections as you go about your desires."
