In talks in Seoul, the leaders said the 2001 comprehensive partnership agreement between the two countries should be developed into a strategic partnership for the sake of peace, stability and prosperirty of both nations and the region as a whole.
Bilateral co-operation would be developed in a wide range of fields, they said in a joint statement.
