Section: General News - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and South Korean Prime Minister Han Seuy-soo yesterday decided to lift ties between the two countries to a new height.

In talks in Seoul, the leaders said the 2001 comprehensive partnership agreement between the two countries should be developed into a strategic partnership for the sake of peace, stability and prosperirty of both nations and the region as a whole.

Bilateral co-operation would be developed in a wide range of fields, they said in a joint statement.

In politics, leaders of both countries would exchange regular visits, and enhance diplomatic, security and defence dialogues.
