Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adejare Bello, declared over the weekend that the measures taken by President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua on the Niger Delta problem are adequate and commendable.

"Nobody should make any mistake about it. The President is right in not condoning criminality in the Niger Delta.

"There cannot be two governments in this country. The militants have been given amnesty by the President and yet, they did not reciprocate the gesture. The latest option is okay by me," he said.
