FAVOURITE Lee Chong Wei proved why he has remained unbeaten on the local circuit for six years as he captured the Pahang Open in convincing manner in Kuantan yesterday. Chong Wei toyed around with back-up shuttler Chan Kwong Beng, playing in his first final of the local circuit, before securing a 21-11, 21-19 win in 30 minutes. The only moment Kwong Beng had some momentum in the match was when he took a 6-2 and then a 18-16 lead but could not deny Chong Wei from running away with the title.
