Audio Codecs support Blu-ray disc audio content protection.(New VIA Vinyl HD Audio Codecs and CyberLink PowerDVD Offer Full-Rate Blu-ray Audio)
Delivering audio quality to HD standards, VIA Vinyl VT1818S and VT1828S integrate four and five 24-bit stereo DACs respectively, along with 2 stereo ADCs, supporting audio sample rates up to 192 kHz. Model VT1818S achieves 100 db SNR, while Model VT1828S achieves SNR of 110 dB. Both codecs support front-panel jack re-tasking feature, which allows flexible configurations and aids consumers' ability to play 2 different audio streams through PC simultaneously.
