The NATO Parliamentary Assembly's Spring Session discussed the situations in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

May 23 Amb. Fernando Gentilini, NATO's Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan, addressed the assembly's Defence and Security Committee, which also considered a report on the situation in the country. The next day the assembly's Political Committee discussed a report on the situation in Pakistan.
