Shameful season for most of SA's Super 14 teams WITH the Super 14 almost at a close and the British and Irish Lions tour about to kick off, it is a good time to wrap up what has been another shameful season for most of SA's Super 14 franchises.

While it was always expected that the Lions and Cheetahs would complete the season at the extreme south end of the log standings, the Sharks and Stormers are the biggest losers after flopping spectacularly despite being touted as early favourites.

The Bulls, meanwhile, deserve immense credit for their superb season win or lose against the Chiefs on Saturday especially after the grilling coach …
