Section: General News - The World Health Organization (WHO) was awarded the prestigious Prince of Asturias Prize for International Cooperation on Wednesday in Spain for its handling of the A/H1N1 flu pandemic.

The Prince of Asturias Prizes are handed out annually by the Prince of Asturias Foundation in Spain to individuals or organizations from around the world that make notable achievements in the fields of sciences, humanities, or public affairs.
