Section: General News - The 27th ASEAN Senior Transport Officials Meeting (STOM) opened in Da Nang City on May 27.
The event drew the participation of ministers of transport from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and dialogue partners, including China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
At the meeting, Vietnam was chosen as president of STOM and Brunei as vice-president of STOM.
