THE Malaysian women's team won a silver once again at the 18th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships after falling 3-0 to defending champions Singapore in Friday's final in Glasgow, Scotland.

World No 32 Yu Meng Yu gave Singapore a flying start by beating Beh Lee Wei, ranked 147th, 11-8, 11-2, 11-6.

Korat Sea Games silver medallist Ng Sock Khim could have put Malaysia level after winning the first two sets against World No 11 Wang Yue Gue but in the end succumbed 5-11, 5-11, 11-5, 11-3, 11-4. …
