Spanish police break up ring smuggling women from Nigeria for prostitution.

National Police officers have broken up an organization involved in trafficking in women for sexual exploitation and forging papers. The group's infrastructure in Nigeria was responsible for trapping women, whom they subjected to voodoo rituals to frighten them and keep them under control. In addition they had other members with resources, in terms of vehicles and flats to keep them in, on the coast of Libya and Italy, which they crossed before reaching Spain.

The investigation began in Seville in February after a complaint was filed by a woman who was a victim of the ring. As a result of this a complex …
