Section: General News - A solemn ceremony was held on Monday in Hanoi to celebrate the 119th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890) and the 50th anniversary of the building of a strategic road named after him, the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail running along the Truong Son mountain range.

Earlier, on Sunday, many leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam, State, National Assembly and the Government paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi.
