A former Harvard money manager was fired for voicing concerns to Harvard officials, according to the manager.

Iris Mack, the second black woman to earn a Harvard PhD in applied math, joined the Harvard Management Company in 2002. She said the group had invested the large endowment in a "frightening" state of affairs.
