Stanford University CA is partnering with the OpEd Project to bring more women's voices to newspapers' editorial pages. With 80 to 90% of all op-ed pieces being written by men, the project aims to get more women writing.

The partnership began when Karen Parker, assistant professor of psychiatry, heard op-ed writer Catherine Orenstein speak at a conference. Parker recognized that Orenstein had "a tremendous potential to advance women's voices."
