At 14, Amanda Righetti was modeling in Japan; by 22 she had landed on FHM 's 100 Sexiest Women list two years in a row. Now, at 26, Righetti is putting her eye-candy days behind her as rookie special investigator Grace Van Pelt on CBS's The Mentalist: "It's nice not to be pigeonholed as the vixen."
What was it like growing up in Las Vegas?
I was born in Utah, so moving to Vegas was a bit frightening. My parents had eight children from previous marriages, so when I came, they threw out the rules.
