Companies donate

Members of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) have pledged their donations early for the Brigada Eskwela, the Department of Education's (DepEd) massive movement to prepare public schools for the June opening. Pacific Paint Philippines is giving cans of paint, while AMSPEC, makers of Crayola, is giving 40 cases of pencils, crayons, and chalk. One of the newest PBSP members, Cebu-based Virginia Food, Inc. has also expressed interest in providing breakfast food items like frozen and canned meat for baon. Holcim Philippines is also interested in sending employee volunteers to selected public schools during the week-long Brigada Eskwela. …
