SA has good shot to be Rugby World Cup host Alexander Improved infrastructure boosts bid ZEENA ISAACS Rugby Correspondent SOUTH African Rugby Union (Saru) deputy president Mark Alexander believes SA has a good chance of winning the right to host either the 2015 or 2019 Rugby World Cups despite the union's failed 2011 bid attempt.

Alexander, who is heading SA's bid, said the new selection process and SA's improved infrastructure with world-class stadiums and an improved transport system with the introduction of the Gautrain would strengthen the country's bid.
