A judge of Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) through a constitutional petition, has pleaded Supreme Court of Pakistan to declare appointment of Chief Justice of Supreme Court AJK Muhammad Reaz Akhter Chaudhry as illegal, unconstitutional and of no legal effect.

Justice Syed Manzoor Hussain Gillani of Supreme Court AJK filed the petition through Advocate Akram Sheikh under article 184(3) of the constitution to be read with Order XXV of the Supreme Court Rules, 1980.
