Born: July 22, 1931 Died: April 15 Married: Anne in 1954 Children: Gary, Patricia and Stuart Grandchildren: Richard, Martin, James, Rebecca, Leanna and Gemma Great-grandchildren: Beatrice and Joseph C EDRIC grew up in Horfield and later lived in Henleaze before he emigrated to Spain in 1995 with his wife, Anne.

As a boy, he was a keen sportsman who greatly enjoyed playing rugby, cricket and football and watching Bristol Rovers, whose results he religiously followed on the BBC World Service every Saturday afternoon, after he had moved to Spain.

He also came back to the UK to watch Rovers at the play-off final at the Millennium Stadium in May 2007.
