Students at Fairfield School have been given some expert tips on the use of sound in films.

The teenagers at the school in Horfield were given a talk by Paul Cowgill, a Bafta-nominated sound editor from the area.

He has worked on a range of award-winning natural history programmes and is about to start work on feature films.
