Season tickets for Portishead's Open Air Pool have gone on sale - and already people are snapping them up.
The Portishead Open Air Pool Trust, which took over the management of the seafront lido from North Somerset Council last month, has started selling the tickets for the summer 2009 season.
Tickets this year are being kept at 2008 prices, although the pool is to be massively upgraded as part of a huge TV makeover project taking place next month.
Sales of the tickets are going well and the trust hopes to have sold 300 by the time the pool opens on May 23.
Season tickets, which give holders unlimited access to the pool from May to the end of September, cost GBP80 per adult and GBP47.50 for a child or OAP. Family season tickets (two adults and two children) are also available and cost GBP160.
Pool trustee, Roger Whitfield, said: "Season tickets are a popular option with people because it offers them unlimited access to the pool throughout the season.
