(From Bristol Evening Post)
Thousands of people are expected to head to Wraxall on Bank Holiday Monday for the 150th North Somerset Show.
Advance ticket sales for the event, organised by the North Somerset Agricultural Society, are up on last year and, in total, about 18,000 people are expected to go through the turnstiles.
Tickets, priced at GBP10 for adults, GBP4 for children and GBP9 for OAPs are available on the gate on the day.
A family ticket is also available priced at GBP23 and the show opens from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Society secretary Tim Ledbury said: "We are really pleased because our advance ticket sales are up on last year.
"We are hoping for fine weather for the event and, if the sun is shining, we expect to have about 18,000 people come to the show throughout the day."
