One of the county's longest-serving estate agents is no longer subject to contract, as her tenure has reached completion.
After 23 years in estate agency, Ursula Sadler, of Hamptons International, has decided to hang up her tape measure, and friends and colleagues gave her a good send-off, with a party held in her honour.
Around 30 people attended and Richard Murray, of Murrays Estate Agents, won the raffle which was held in aid of the Prince's Trust, bagging himself a helicopter ride.
Ursula began her career in London, working for a firm of solicitors. She then moved to Gloucestershire with her husband, Chris, and bought a house in Amberley while working as a member of the CID civilian staff at Stroud Police Station.
After leaving to have her family, two girls - Katie and Rachel - in 1985, Ursula went back to work part-time, working evenings as a telephone sales negotiator in the Stroud office of Lear & Lear.
