ONE of the best-loved musicals of all time, Singin' in the Rain, comes to Sunderland Empire from Tuesday, May 12, until Saturday, May 16.

It stars Tim Flavin as Don Lockwood, the role immortalised by Gene Kelly in the film version, and Culture Club members can buy tickets for just pounds 20.

The musical exudes all the style and spectacle of the MGM golden age and features some great comedy routines, dance numbers, and songs such as Good Morning, Make 'em Laugh, Moses Supposes, You Were Meant For Me and, of course, the famous title track.
