ASANSOL, April 29: Apparently, Robert Bruce, the Scottish monarch is as different from the Trinamul Congress candidate for the Assansol parliamentary constituency, Mr Moloy Ghatak, as chalk and cheese. Yet, like the persevering Scotman who tasted victory in battle after a series of reverses, the advocate cum trade union leader is contesting this seat after four successive defeats and is looking forward to success in his fifth electoral race. Though successive failures have not diminished Mr Ghatak's confidence, he is only too aware that he is on a sticky wicket. Of the seven Assembly segments of this parliamentary constituency, six are represented by Left Front legislators. …
