Like many other Texans and Americans across the nation, Robert Sanders believes in being armed and ready to defend life and property. When, in the very early hours of February 6, he heard the noise of an intruder inside his storage area, a leased facility just in front of his residence in Kaufman County, Texas, he retrieved a loaded rifle and went to investigate.
