What do you do when life gives you lemons? Make lemonade? That's what eight-year-old Victoria Petrucelly did; then she sold it and donated all the proceeds to charity.
According to the March 23 Orlando Sentinel, Victoria and her friend Jesse Theobald first wanted to have a lemonade stand last year. Shortly after they decided to do this, though, Victoria's mom, Angela, was diagnosed with breast cancer. The girls decided to make their lemonade pink (the "Think Pink Lemonade Stand") and donate the proceeds to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando. They hoped to raise $50 for the center where Angela was being treated.
