Vietnam: Vietnam works to promote cooperation with Russia.
Section: General News - Vietnam will do its best to maintain and further promote the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Russia, said National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong.
The NA Chairman made the statement during talks with Speaker of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov in Moscow on April 23, affirming Vietnam's consistent policy of expanding its strategic partnership with the European country to bring the two countries' ties to a new height.
NA Chairman Trong told his counterpart that his visit is aimed at deploying the agreements reached between the two legislative bodies to enhance their ties in particular and the relationship between the two countries in general.
