Section: Business News - Leyte Governor Carlos Jericho Petilla confirmed that the provincial government of Leyte has recently awarded a 25-year contract to the winning developer of the state-owned 43-room MacArthur Park Beach Resort Hotel at Palo, Leyte. Governor Petilla said that the Singaporean conglomerate will start next month, the P300 Million renovation works of the said hotel.

The young governor said that several legal matters on the project are currently being checked in order to prevent problems that would delay the project from cropping up in the future.
