DECIDING on a sports utility vehicle (SUV) can be a bit hard, especially if you're looking for one with high value for money and gives high mileage in the long run.
When performance comes in second, our options are limited to budget SUVs that do not offer 5-second century sprint.
We took the CBU (completely built unit) Chery Alado Tiggo 1.6-litre for a drive and decided that the SUV is actually a bargain worth considering.
The front-wheel-drive SUV is imported directly from China by Chery Alado Automobile Sdn Bhd and is available on two variants - the FWD 1.6-litre and the more powerful 4WD 2.0-litre.
