Bruce Barlow, Merle Jones, and Pete Greve are brothers--fraternity brothers, that is. They were all members of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity during their college days at Northwest Missouri State University over 30 years ago.
They have kept in contact over the years and over the miles, and recently had a heartwarming reunion with over 20 other "brothers." You see, Pete Greve, of Omaha, Nebraska, has cancer, and when Bruce and Merle heard about it, they decided to bless Pete and his wife.
Omaha's KETV-7 reported on this touching story on March 15. When Jones and Barlow learned of Greve's battle with cancer, they wanted to visit him in this difficult time, but "we didn't want to sit on our hands," Jones told the news station. So they asked Pete if he needed anything; he responded that there were a few things around the house that needed to be done.
