According to a report released on Match 20 by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the deficits to be generated over the next 10 years by the Obama administration's proposed budget will be much higher than the administration's estimates. Obama underestimated the deficit for the current fiscal year by $100 billion, the CBO says. The divergence between the president's estimates and the CBO analysis increases with subsequent years, with the difference totaling $2.3 trillion for the 10-year period from 2010 to 2019. And that's just the difference! The CBO foresees that the annual deficits would total $9.3 trillion for 2010-2019.
