Woodbridge, VA - Paul D. Reynolds , EIT, recently attained the status of Engineer-in-Training. In 2007, Reynolds was hired as a project engineer in the Civil Engineering Department of Burgess & Niple 's Woodbridge office. Reynolds expertise includes design of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water line systems; site grading and drainage; storm water management; and erosion and sediment control. John R. Schwartz III , PE, recently received his professional engineer's license. As a project engineer in Burgess & Niple's office in Richmond, VA, Schwartz is responsible for site plan development, storm sewer and drainage system design, hydraulic analysis, culvert design, and sanitary sewer systems. Jesse M. Warren , PE, LEED AP, recently received his professional engineer's license. Employed as a mechanical engineer in Burgess & Niple's Virginia Beach office since 2006, Warren is experienced in all aspects of building HVAC and plumbing systems design, with an emphasis on sustainability.

Durham, NC - Skanska USA Building Inc. announced that Greg Peele has been promoted to senior vice president. In this role, Peele will serve as sole account manager for Skanska's Virginia operations.

Charlotte, NC - Rodgers Builders, Inc. has named Ron Cohn to the position of senior vice president - Construction Operations. Current projects under Cohn's leadership include Pennybyrn at Maryfield Retirement Community (High Point, NC), Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District's Bailey Road High School (Cornelius, NC), and the Bioinformatics Center project on the Millennial Campus at UNC Charlotte. Cohn is also responsible for leading the preconstruction and construction operations teams on two upcoming projects that are scheduled to break ground in 2009: UNC Charlotte Phase 9 Residence Hall project and the UNC Greensboro Classroom and Office Building project.
