Angel is king but Phil and Tiger steal the show A FRIEND who has taken to sports betting keeps asking my advice and he's driving me crazy. I keep telling him not to bet on golf but he keeps asking me things such as : So is Tiger a good bet for the Masters? Trying to sound wise, I say that if he's within 10 after round two, bet on him.

So on Saturday evening, with Tiger seven behind the leaders, I get an SMS saying he can get 9/2 on Tiger, any chance he can win? Yes, says I. Then I remember it's probably started and yes, Tiger's gone and double-bogeyed the first. So I SMS him frantically saying don't bet, don't bet.
