from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Pekanbaru, Riau, April 13 (ANTARA) - Floods which hit two villages at Gunung Sahilan, Kampar District, Riau, got worse and forced tens of local residents to flee to higher ground.

Some 22 families at Gunung Sahilan and Sahilan Darussalam villages had taken refuge since Sunday evening (April 12).

The flood victims moved to others' houses located in higher ground, and some of them were forced to take refuge in emergency camps set up on Sungai Kampar Bridge at Gunung Sahilan, Ajisman, a local resident of Gunung Sahilan, said here on Monday.

The floods got worse as incessant rains had continued to fall …
