A former University of Portland student is suing the school for more than $1 million, claiming it failed to tell police that she had been raped and that its response to the alleged cyber-bullying was inadequate.

The woman, who was 16 years old at the time of the alleged incident, claims she was raped at a men's dorm in October 2007, but didn't tell school officials until name-calling began on Facebook in February 2008. She claims she saw a picture of herself on the alleged ...
