What are educators for but to promote student learning through relationship? We relate to our students, our subject matter and our world. We guide students to grow in relationship to self and others. That is how learning happens.
Yet with the movement toward analysis over the past few centuries, we have broken learning into smaller and smaller fragments, detached from one another. We train in silos and sub-silos.
