Michael Andretti, CART's 1991 champion, is one of the most decorated individuals in Indy-car racing, and his postdriving career includes roles as a co-owner of Andretti Green Racing, the father of Marco Andretti and the promoter of races in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Toronto. He will be Danica Patrick's race strategist for 2009.
AUTOWEEK: How do you think Patrick will benefit from you being on her radio this season?
MICHAEL ANDRETTI: One thing about Danica is she's always really responded to me when I've said, "You should try this, try that. She's gone out and done it. If I'm just focused on her, I think that maybe I can help her that much more.
