Nestled at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, the second-annual Desert Classic Concours d'Elegance in Palm Springs, Calif., hosted 140 vintage, classic and special-interest street and race cars. The event took place on the clubhouse green of the historic O'Donnell Golf Club.
In only its second year, the event drew cars from across the United States and Canada and is looking to become one of the premier concours in the country. Some in attendance mentioned that the array and the quality of the cars on display might even rival the granddaddy of them all, Pebble Beach.
