A new congressional resolution calls for passage of health care reform legislation within 18 months and for the bill to directly address the health care needs of women. The Health Care for Women Resolution, which was introduced in the House and Senate last month, calls on Congress to create and pass legislation that would promote primary and preventive care including family planning.
