Claris last week unveiled versions of its FileMaker Pro relational database and HomePage Web-authoring tool, in addition to showcased tighter integration between the two products.

The integration will make a one-stop shop for users to develop a database-driven site with FileMaker Pro 4.0 and HomePage 3.0, officials said. Both will be simultaneously available for Windows 95, Windows NT, and Mac OS.

Claris will release a public beta version of FileMaker Pro 4.0 this week in advance of its formal October release. A public beta version of HomePage 3.0 will be released when FileMaker Pro ships. (See "Claris to unveil FileMaker Pro 4.0 with built-in Web capabilities," …
