President Yoweri Museveni has urged the donor community to commit more funds to the development of Africa's infrastructure.
"What we need in Africa is not political lessons. We do not need capacity building in form of hotel seminars. We need cheap and abundant electricity, modern railway networks and permanent roads," he said.
"How can you give me lessons on election voting? How can you give (Nelson) Mandela election lessons? We are freedom fighters. We fought for voting, therefore, we do not need lessons on voting," he said.
Museveni was addressing the opening of a high-level conference of the North South Corridor in Lusaka, Zambia yesterday. …
