Your latest issue with "Bailout Mania" on the cover (January 5) is an outstanding call to reason which will go unheeded.
The American public has been so conditioned to think of paper as real money that they invest in the so-called safety of depreciating Treasury bills at little or no interest rather than buy gold or silver, which are being bought by foreigners who know better. Thus real wealth moves from the hands of the weak and foolish into strong hands abroad and we, as a nation, become weaker than ever.
