New fire station opens in Temburong District.

To better serve the community of Temburong District, the Fire and Rescue Department has officially launched a brand new multi-million- dollar fire station in Kg Rataie, Mukim Bukok

It's only the second fire station in the district, which is occupied by more than 9,000 people. In total, there are 21 fire stations in Brunei Darussalam.

The fire station, which covers an area of 0.4 hectare, cost $2,056,080.95 to build. It is one of the projects under the 8th National Development Plan. Construction of the fire station started in mid-2006 and was completed in March 2008.
