from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, March 31 (ANTARA) - Some 72 Indonesian university students will leave for Japan on Wednesday (April 1) to continue their study with scholarships from the Japanese education, science, and technology ministry.

"We note that the number of Indonesians studying in Japan increases annually," Takio Yamada, charge d'affairs of the Japanese embassy, said after a function to send off the Indonesian students here on Tuesday.

Indonesia was in the fourth rank after China, South Korea and Australia in number of students studying in Japan, he said.
