30 Graduate From Genetic Counselling Training Course.

In pursuit of addressing the problem of sickle cell among Nigerians and Africa region,the Sickle Cell Foundation of Nigeria in collaboration with MTN Foundation recently concluded its 9th Genetic Counseling Training Course on Sickle Cell Disorder and awarded certificates to 30 health workers for the 2009 session.
The Sickle Cell Center which is the first comprehensive center of its kind in Africa is targeted at managing, control of sickle cell disorder, strengthens the capacity to conduct and promote appropriate training, research and service programmes to Nigerians and Africa region.
