Apr. 1--Naples neighbors of a Miramar police officer punched him and threatened him and his teenage son with rocks during an argument about dogs, according to a police report.

Miramar police Sgt. Christopher M. Bisel told Collier County sheriff's deputies that his wife and a neighbor got into a heated, profanity-laced argument Sunday evening. The Bisels' German shepherd had chased the neighbor's unleashed dog through the Bisels' wireless pet fence, the report said.

Bisel, 39, told deputies he went to the neighbor's house to help and two men ordered him off the property.
